The Jimmy Rane Foundation welcomes this year's guest speaker, Marcus Allen
Courage, tenacity and class. That’s what makes Marcus Allen one of our heroes. His 12,243 yards rushing, 5,411 yards receiving and 145 career touchdowns don’t make us love him any less, either. Considered one of the greatest goal line and short-yardage runners to ever play the game, Allen is a true living legend. He has earned all the trophies, rings, plaques and titles they give out. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2000, and into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2003. On and off the field, Allen exemplifies the character we try to teach our youth. Even after retirement in 1997, Allen continues to demonstrate remarkable leadership, integrity and All-Star status. So needless to say, we’re both honored and excited to welcome Marcus Allen as our guest speaker at this year’s scholarship awards banquet.
